Good idea, needs app improvements

I bought the Heatbit Duo a few weeks ago, mostly for the heating aspect but the crypto rewards were a nice bonus. Setup was straightforward, and it really does heat my office well without making too much noise. The mining seems to be working, I can see small amounts accumulating. My main gripe is the Heatbit App. It's a bit clunky and sometimes slow to update the mining stats. I also had a small issue with the initial Wi-Fi connection, it took a few tries. Shipping was quicker than I expected though, got it in about 4 days to New Mexico. Overall, a solid product with room for software polish.

So, comparison question. How does a Heatbit stack up against something like a Dyson heater? Just for the heating part, ignoring the mining for a sec. Is the heating effective?

Dyson is probably 'nicer' looking and quieter for just heating, but you get zero crypto back. Heatbit heats up my room just fine, and I like that it's doing something extra.

It's a solid heater. Not sure if it's as 'smart' as some high-end Dyson models, but it keeps my office warm and mines a bit of BTC. For the price, considering the mining, it's a no-brainer over a regular heater.

Yeah it's legit. Mines bitcoin while heating. It won't make you rich overnight, but it's not a scam. They've been around for a bit now.

I think they do a referral program. Just ask around, someone usually has one. It's a fixed discount, like 50 bucks or so.

It's not bad. You'll hear it if you're right next to it, but from across the room, it's just background hum. Definitely not like, an old window AC unit noise.
